I am currently working as a Front End Developer. I am templating and prototyping from Designs and Technical Specifications. I am coding in XHTML/CSS using JQuery to create interactive interfaces. I am intransigent with my code for it has to be W3C compliant in terms of validation and accessiblity. Lately, I am more involved in the build on the server side by integrating templates within CMSs such as Drupal or Rhythmyx.
I have worked on various multimedia projects as a volunteer and freelancer in order to cover a large range of technologies such as:
- web design/development
- video content and support
- printed/emailed newsletters
I am experienced in Admin/IT Support for an English Training Centre called Learning Works. I have supervised and monitored administration system/procedures in order to manage courses from the scheduling to the examination success rate. I have developed bespoke IT tools in order to automate and facilitate tasks, and maintained IT material in the office.
I have been teaching IT (MSO, Programming) and working in Technology Integration (virtual classes, web design, graphic design) in an academic and continuing education environment in France.
Objective
My main obejective is to work with a large range of technologies in Web/Multimedia environment. When I have moved towards IT as a teacher I felt the need to be involved in concrete projects in order to get real samples for my students. Therefore I haev decided spend for a minimum of 10 years working on multimedia projects.
The final step will be to find a position mixing development and teaching/support.
